"It has put me off coming back"

(as a service user),

I was sent for an ultrasound by my GP. I arrived in the afternoon and was taken in to see doctor several hours later only to be told they wouldn't perform an ultrasound as the staff were leaving for the day. By this point I had not eaten for 24 hours and I am diabetic. I was asked how old I was only for doctor to respond with a comment about most people not living to my age, and that I have had a good innings - this was extremely upsetting and inconsiderate of the medics involved, what does that even mean? I am not that old.

They examined me laid on the couch but never told me I could get up even though laying aggravated my symptoms .... they didn't assist me getting up. They then proceeded to tell me their department will be taking time off this weekend so I will need to wait until the weekday. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled at this experience and it has put me off coming back. I would like to know why it happened.
