"Holiday care"

About: NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service) Raigmore Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

We were on holiday in Aviemore when my daughter had an issue with her ears. After ringing 111 at early in the morning, she had an appointment at Raigmore minor injuries an hour and a half later and we were back in our holiday accommodation by 11am. I was so impressed by how quickly this was dealt with especially in the current climate.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience on Care Opinion. I'm sorry to learn your daughter had an issue with her ears, especially when on holiday.

It sounds as though she received fantastic seamless care quickly which was great. I hoped it enabled you all to enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Feedback such as yours is great to see, especially, as you say, in the current climate when services are stretched. I'm pleased we manged your daughter's care effectively and efficiently which is what we strive to do for all patients.
