"Lack of follow up from dr"

About: General practices in Fife Victoria Hospital / Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service (RCDS)

(as a service user),

Went to doctors about lumps in groin, stomach, swollen feet & dramatic weight loss which am sure was 9kg in 6mnths, so doctor referred me to ecdc to be on safe side & within 1 to 2 weeks I had appointment, I felt nervous but my daughter the staff at ecdc made me feel so at ease talking about everything about why I was referred etc and what was going to happen next etc, which was ct scan & all went ok with that too.

Appointment again was quick in coming through & results too which made me feel better, my only disappointment is that my own surgery doctor that referred me has never contacted me since been at ecdc about the letter they have sent detailing how I got on at ecdc etc, I have own letter sent to me but just dont know what step is with my own doctor as been 3 or 4 weeks since I was at clinic but still no word from my doctor, but so grateful of everyone at ecdc for been very warm & welcoming with me.
