About: Larksfield Surgery Medical Partnership

Ongoing peri-meno treatment requiring prescribed medication. In order to get this medication I had to go to private GP as no appointments to diagnose. This practice agree with diagnosis but want to review prescription every 8 weeks - phone where I take my own blood pressure and tell GP what it said! However, no appointments to even do that, completely disjointed approach as I have form that says review in October not 8 weeks. Have to wait at least 30 minutes to get through to anyone at any time of day. I wish I had the finance to remain private as this local surgery is completely overstretched to the extent it can't help anyone and can't move surgeries so no choice but to be continually frustrated every 8 weeks with worry that I won't have my medication in time!!

Many thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you are disappointed with the service at Larksfield hopefully you will see changes going forward as we are increasing staffing levels at the practice. We do encourage patients who can to take their Blood pressure at home in a more relaxed environment for a more effective reading this also saves valuable appointments. We do have BP monitors to loan patients in these circumstances
