Phoned the surgery 2hours before closing to request an urgent appointment with anyone for our young child who is under 5 and who was complaining of a headache and had a fever and was told by the receptionist that there were no appointments left and no out of hours appointments left and the doctor who they had spoken too had said if it symptoms get any worse to phone 111…. We phoned back the next morning at 8am and was seen that morning by a GP who immediate diagnosed our child had tonsillitis and was prescribed antibiotics.
