About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Came in for steroid injection in my hip. I was on ward 1. All the nursing staff on the ward and in theatre were brilliant. They and Dr Heaton explained everything.

Theatre was lovely and cool on such a scorching hot day. The procedure went well. I can’t fault anything.

Very grateful to the NHS as always.

Dear DW22

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this and we are always so grateful for positive comments from our patients which prove that we are giving the best care that we can. I will share this with theatres and with Mr Heaton as well as we all play a part in your journey which as you have expressed, was a really good one.

Thank you again and I hope the injection has helped and given you easier mobility so you can carry on with your life in less pain and discomfort.
