(as a service user),

CGL referred me to the service and I had to weight 8 months to get a place. I have been on methadone for 37 years, also various prescription medications and managed to get a 4 week placement and was successfully detoxed from everything within that time. Today is my last day and tomorrow I'm going to rehab.

You will not be allowed herbal medicines here and my CBD oil was put into storage for me collect on discharge. You will also not be allowed to smoke, however you can bring a vape to use in the garden. I'm looking forward to getting my life back as I had become housebound in 2017. This service worked for me and I feel blessed to start the rest of my life.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us feedback with regards to your treatment journey with us.

We're so glad you managed to get a placement with us and it's lovely to hear we made such a positive impact on your detox journey.

We are a non-smoking unit but do provide nicotine replacement therapy to help aid you through your time with us and as you mentioned, all personal belongings that are restricted items are placed into a storage hold for you whilst you're in the unit and are then handed back upon discharge.

The team endeavour to always ensure your stay here is as comfortable as it can be, so it's really nice to hear you had such a positive experience and we wish you all the best for the future!
