(as a parent/guardian),

My little 8 year old woke up at 3am with breathing difficulties. I had Covid and phoned out of hours gp for advice. On listening to my child on the call the call handler dispatched an ambulance. 

3 paramedics arrived at our home less than 30 minutes later. Charlie, Mathew and a student para were reassuring, calm, jolly, friendly l, supportive to me and flawlessly professional.

Dear Aileen22

I want to give a heartfelt thank you for taking the time to share your extremely positive experience from what is most probably a parents worst nightmare (a seriously ill child). It must have been a particularly frightening time for you, given you were also unwell and this incident happened during out of hours.

I am thrilled to learn we delivered a compassionate and professional service to your child as we make it our mission to provide the right resource first time and in doing so providing the best patient care.

You have taken great care to detail the names of the crew members who arrived to your home, and have mentioned your gratitude to the call handler for whom was quick to identify and dispatch help.

I do look forward to hearing from you, as this will help me communicate these very powerful compliments, for which I have no doubt will offer a morale boost during these current ongoing pressures the system is experiencing.
