My story began when I tested positive for Corona Virus in July. I was contacted by the NHS and told what was available by the way of treatment. I was contacted by the WHSCT and told that I qualified for an anti-viral treatment which would be administered by the Rapid Response Unit at Gransha Park. It was clearly explained when to arrive and where to arrive. Unfortunately I found the signage slightly confusing on site, but I did arrive at the right place at the right time.
On arrival I was shown every respect and shown to my place of treatment. Luckily I have had quite a lot of treatment via infusion, so I understood the procedure very well. I found the staff very attentive, clearly explaining what they were doing. I also appreciated the offer of a cup of tea and a biscuit.
The whole process was carried out quickly and efficiently and I was quickly on my way.
