The person at reception of Urology made me feel really unwelcome and whenever I called to request information or correct an error on their records, the person on the phone is dismissime and unfriendly. I understand the pressure on NHS services but her attitude doesn't help anyone, just wastes both my time and their time.
The first examination I had there by a doctor was done in a caring and proffessional way.
The following up telephone consulation was cancelled and rescheduled without any notification. I was just waiting the whole morning and had to call them the next day. Of course the receptionist said it was the bookings fault and dismissed my complaint that the department didn't even call me to say that the appointment was cancelled.
When eventually the doctor called the following week, he was in a rush and didn't explain properly my condition. Again I understand the pressure on NHS, but keeping patients well-informed, saves time in the end.
