"Seamless care at Eye Casualty"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

I would like to thank Sharon (Nursing Sister) for looking after me so well, and making it so straightforward for me to receive care at the Eye Casualty whilst also being covid positive.

I would also like to thank the receptionist for looking after me when I arrived, and for Stephen (Healthcare Assistant) for going to the Pharmacy on my behalf to collect my medications.

I got excellent care from the SHO who saw me (wish I could remember his name!). He never complained in any way about having to wear all the PPE and took his time to assess me thoroughly and explain everything. It was such an impressive service and excellent care, and I am truly thankful.

I thought that having covid would have made it so much more complicated to get seen, but you all went out of your way to make it such a seamless service and it was clear you had such a great system in place to keep everyone safe but to still see patients with covid.

Many thanks.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback to the Eye Casualty team for being able to treat you and factor in your CoVid status.

The team always welcome such feedback.

Mary
