At my scan today, I waited over half an hour to be seen when I was on time for my appointment and other people who came after me got seen before me. My partner went to the desk twice to find out what was happening. One of the staff on front desk, asked if she could help, then asked if he was supposed to be there? He explained that we're here for our appointment and have not been seen. After he pointed in my direction she came over to find out what the problem was, I explained to her that we've been waiting for over half an hour and have not been seen, she apologised for the delay and said we would be next. The technician mistook another couple for us, stating she was called us twice, she had a bit of an attitude. During the scan she called for a colleague to enter the room without explaining why and I thought maybe something was wrong with the baby. No explanation was given, if she noticed my partner was doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing she could have spoken to me about it. The same way I was able to repeat my question I asked during the scan after she did not hear me the first time, she could have had the same courtesy to communicate more effectively with my partner and I. Having a stranger(her colleague) from front desk present during a special moment when my partner was finding out the gender of our child was not necessary. I felt like my privacy was invaded, especially as only my partner excluding the technician was to know the gender at the time.
"Unhappy with the service"
