Because of a sudden and unexpected very painful injury last week to my dependent right knee, because I was already suffering from an ongoing problem with my left knee, with serious consequential mobility problems, I needed an urgent appointment for an examination. I received a very kind and sympathetic response from the Receptionist who made me a face to face appointment with the Duty Doctor the same morning. The Duty Doctor was very kind, reassuring and sympathetic, and advised on what treatment I should undertake to help with the injury, and referred me for an urgent X-ray at Watford General Hospital. The overall response and help I got was outstanding which, after all the Covid problems of not being able to see our normal medical support staff face to face for such a long time, along with all the associated isolation issues, was very welcome and reassuring.
"Excellent Urgent Response"
