(as a relative),

Grandson had to attend dept following a quad bike accident.

As a family, we just want to thank each and every member of staff who attended to my Grandson last week. Despite department being overwhelmingly busy, you were all fantastic. I would love to name each of you individually but I'm  scared I miss anyone out...... thank you for your care, your communication, your reassurance, your cuddly toys, arranging transport to sick kids asap. All much appreciated.
