"Her calm nature really put me at ease"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Medicine (Wards 3, 4, 5 &46)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 46 from A&E on Saturday morning, on arrival to the ward it was 2am, I was shown to my bed by the Porter, I was then greeted by the most loveliest nurse called Cynthia, she was so friendly and caring. I was not expecting to be admitted to hospital that night, I expected to get discharged from A&E. I was very anxious and although I never told her how anxious I was her calm nature really put me at ease, she chatted away to me and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Thanks Cynthia you are the best :)

Dear Michelleb85

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your wonderful experience of using the A&E and General Medicine ward of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

It was great to hear how all the staff especially Cynthia made you feel at ease and made your stay a memorable one in what must have been a very worrying time for you and your family.

It must have been a shock to discover you had to be admitted but to learn of the support and care provided to you was very comforting indeed.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff involved who I'm sure will be touched to hear such glowing feedback.

I hope your feeling a lot better now and back at home recovering.

Kind regards

Kevin
