In my opinion its an Incompetent level of bureaucracy. Can't book online for repeat prescription as it sends you between two forms that say you need to complete the other. Phones not working on hold for twenty minutes then cut off. Walked to the Stockport choices centre spoke to the same receptionist I have seen over the last 18 months or so who informed me (they were lovely no complaint on them) that even though they can see all my records I have to waste the time of NHS staff to do the same tests they did 18 months ago because of a change of name/ownership. I don't care if your calling yourselves Princess Consuela Banana Hammock, In my opinion the NHS should be treated as a single entity for end users. Also after two years of being informed how under pressure the staff are I'm now being told even though they can read the notes that they have written, they still need to act like I've never been there before. I feel its bad I.T./Website and Processes. Don't be surprised when your staff burn out and leave.
