After waiting for over 2 years, I was admitted for surgery and from entering the building the service was exceptional. Nothing was a trouble from friendly, obliging staff. After surgery I was admitted to ward 5 where the excellent care from all staff continued. Then came discharge, I waited 7 hours for a prescription. This meant I was occupying a bed, ate 2 meals and took up staff time. Come on NHS management sort this out as I hear it’s common in most hospitals. How much more efficient and cost effective would you be if you reorganised your pharmacy services? Help your wonderful staff, don’t put stumbling blocks in their path, they and your patients deserve it.
"Wonderful hospital let down by pharmacy! "
