I have had quite a few routine mammograms over the years (I am 68 years old) and I have always experienced some amount of pain. I was dreading my appointment today at the Rose Centre and was wondering whether to cancel it at the last minute. However, my experience today was just amazing. Apart from the discomfort of the compression, I experienced no pain at all. The Radiologist was absolutely wonderful - kind, efficient and making me feel as relaxed as possible.
My grateful thanks to the wonderful Radiologist and her expertise.
