I was given an emergency appointment by a receptionist who went above and beyond to get me an appointment for the Dental Hospital Glasgow for a microscopic root canal. (Sadly I didn’t get her name as she was very sympathetic and efficient.)
It was performed by Jamie who was being taught/supervised by Mrs Burns, consultant. Both made me feel very comfortable and explained every step of the process. The tooth ended up needing to be extracted. This was done by Mrs Burn. I was fully informed throughout and both listened to me and kept me calm. I am so grateful for the care that was provided by both of them. I am a nervous patient when it comes to the dentist and this was not an issue for them. I felt validated and respected. They listened when I told them I could still feel some pain and added more anaesthetic to ensure the procedure was pain free.
Thank you both!
