"Dedication and hard work"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I attended for g.a. colonoscopy / polypectomies in June.  This was to be my first general anaesthetic since age 5 for tonsillectomy.

I was very apprehensive.

All the staff were so very professional, considerate, empathetic, helpful, pleasant, well mannered, courteous and informative.

My apprehension was helped enormously by all of them.

The procedure went well and I was discharged with excellent communication regarding after care.

I am so pleased to be able to give the staff such wonderful praise, which they do, indeed, deserve for their efforts, and " customer service" as well as their dedication and hard work.

What beautiful positive feedback I have the privilege to share with all staff involved in your care when you recently attended our Day Surgery Unit within University Hospital Wishaw.

I thank you for expressing how impressed you were with the treatment you received from our staff.

You must have been anxious, I am happy to read the Day Surgery staff were able to put you at ease and deliver the care and compassion they work so hard to achieve and maintain.

Good communication is paramount to help patients settle and know they are in safe hands.

I hope your recovery is going well and, again thank you for your kind words.
