There is lots of pressure on primary care, yet I experienced brilliant care today in Sheffield. I called my local surgery to book appointment after 10:00 am on Monday, as I was advised it is busy before then. A call was booked for the same day with the GP, between 1-5pm. I was contacted at 1:25pm, a brief history and symptoms were given, then bloods were booked for tomorrow lunchtime, with a text message confirming. An onward referral is underway. Thank you to the Porter Brook Medical Centre for kind and efficient care.
