"My visit to the surgical department"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

All doctors, nurses were very kind as I was really nervous about my operation. They were very professional and put me at ease. My room was very clean and nothing was too much trouble from all staff.

 Apart from the decor it was almost like a private room. 
I was very impressed, they took great care of me.

Dear Zazi

Thank you for taking the time to respond from your visit to us and I appreciate the décor isn’t the best but we are working on that – I am pleased to hear you had a good experience and the nursing staff made you feel at ease and were helpful to you whilst you were with us. I will share this with them and also the domestic team as they strive to keep the cleanliness to a very high standard and also with estates so they can see that the décor does need addressing, as it gives me some support to get this through, so thank you for that and take care following your operation.
