"ME/CFS Programme"

About: Mental Health Community Services / Chronic Fatigue/M.E. Service

(as a service user),

It was wonderful to actually talk with other patients who ‘get it’ but to have this contact with a health care professional (Lorraine) so knowledgeable in the condition is unheard of in my own experience. I can’t even speak about my condition with my GP practice due to lack of understanding.

The programme has given me actual tangible things that I can do to try to help me manage my own health, and has given me the hope and encouragement that my health may improve through ongoing learned condition management and I can go beyond just ‘existing’ on a day to day basis.

Hi Chronic1

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the ME/CFS programme. I am glad to hear that the group element was beneficial to you and that you were able to take away some practical strategies that will help you in managing your condition in the future.

With very best wishes, Lorraine
