Just had my second surveillance Colonoscopy at Royal Berks in 3 years. I was contacted before the visit to ensure I was happy and fully understood the procedure. No hanging around when I arrived. I was made ready straight away. The staff were just so friendly and reassuring. Everyone has time for you.

Procedure was started on time and was over in 20-30 minutes. Invasive yes, but not painful. Once finished It was tea and biscuits whilst waiting for sedation to wear off. In total less than 2 hours. Follow up calls to ensure all was okay. The department is a credit to the Trust.
