"Great service"

About: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

I went to RBGH in June this year for elbow surgery. All the staff were very friendly and professional. I knew what was going on throughout my day with regards where I was on the timetable, ongoing procedures, checks and so forth. I knew what was happening and everybody was really nice. I spoke to the surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses and HCA's. All amazing!!

After I awoke post surgery, I was looked after by some fantastic staff and was once again made to feel safe and welcome to get over my GA slowly and in my own time. Everything was clean and tidy and in ship shape order.

I cant thank everybody enough for looking after me throughout my day surgery and I hope that they at least get hear this feedback to say what a great job they are doing.

Dear JS 21.06.22

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and we are pleased to hear it was such a positive one.

Coming in for surgery can be an anxious time for some people so being kept informed of all the things that are happening or going to happen can be really helpful.

Also meeting with the whole team looking after you and getting to see how friendly and professional they are can really put you at ease.

Thank you for highlighting the clean environment and the unhurried nature of your recovery as these are the little details that make people safe, confident and comfortable.

We will be pleased to share your kind comments with the department and the managers

Regards

Patient Engagement Team
