I was admitted to the Day Intervention Unit as I was having a biopsy on a lump. I was nervous going in but S/N Bobby met me and looked after me during my stay. She was very friendly and immediately put me ease. Bobby explained everything to me and was never far away which was comforting.
I met my surgeon Mr Naqvi quite quickly too, who was also lovely and again put me at ease about the procedure, explaining everything that was going to happen or may happen once the procedure was underway.
Dr Bell was the Anaesthetist. She was very professional and I felt very safe in her hands.
I really can't speak more highly of the staff I came into contact within the DIU, and should I have to go in again I certainly would not be as nervous as I was. Thank you so much for all you do.
