Yesterday I found a lump in my breast and booked an online appointment. This wasn't for another 3 weeks so this morning I rang to see if they had a cancellation for today. I was given an appt for next Tuesday, but upon telling the receptionist what my concern was she promptly advised me I could be seen urgently today.

I was seen by a student and a GP (I had consented to this) and both were reassuring and personable.

I was told they would refer me to the breast clinic and to expect an appt within the next 2-3 weeks.

The surgery have just rang me and booked my appointment at the breast clinic for lext week.

Thankyou to all staff involved, the receptionist for making my appointment a priority, theGP and student for their help and the speedy referral. I can now relax as opposed to worrying for the next 3 weeks.
