"Staff couldn't do enough for me"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Daisy Hill Hospital / Female Medical Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

After collapsing, somebody called me an ambulance which brought me to the Emergency Department at Daisy Hill Hospital. The ambulance staff were absolutely fantastic. Everything in A&E was absolutely fine. All the staff were very polite.

I was then moved up to the Female Medical Ward. It has been absolutely lovely on the ward - it really couldn't be nicer. The staff have all been fantastic - they really couldn't do enough for you. Andrea in particular has been absolutely lovely.

The attitude of all staff members has been brilliant - you will not get one bad word from me regarding the staff. The communication with staff has also been brilliant - they explain everything so very well. I am a bit of a picky eater but any food I have eaten has been alright and there certainly is enough of it. The ward itself has been clear and comfortable.

I have no suggestions for improvement. My overall experience has been a good one and after this experience I would definitely come straight back to Daisy Hill over any other hospital - it has just been that good.
