About: Stepping Hill Hospital / General medicine

(as a service user),

A blood test was taken by the community nurse while giving intravenous antibiotics. The next day the hospital at home team arrived to make sure that my kidneys were not damaged by dehydration. they came three times giving a Saline drip and testing blood. This saved three visits to the hospital.

Stockport are now cutting this service which will no doubt cost more in the long run.
