My goddaughter was well supported with her diabetes and other conditions during her pregnancy.
Sadly at 27 weeks our little girl died in the womb.As a family we were devastated but my goddaughter and her partner have been magnificent throughout both during the birth of a stillborn and subsequently. This has been made possible by the impressive and wonderful care and support has been given throughout.
The stuff from those on reception to the consultant a particular midwifery staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and as a family we felt so supported. Like the staff would never wish this experience on anyone but given that’s the case I couldn’t have wished for a better service.
Only yesterday the couple were told the outcome of the autopsy.
Again it was delivered in a straightforward but kind of way.
So behalf of my family I’d like to say a big thank you to all the staff who were involved. We wish you the best of luck in your future work.
Well done.
"Wonderfully supportive service"
