Visited the breast imaging centre as a result of finding a lump, was referred by my GP and received an appointment to the breast imaging centre within a week.

I was seen promptly for an initial assessment by a consultant, then a mammogram about 45 mins later, followed by an ultrasound about 30 mins after the mammogram. Shortly after that, I had another meeting with the consultant to discuss the findings of the mammogram and scans.

All of the staff were polite, professional and reassuring. I found them to be efficient and they made the whole experience as positive as can be hoped for, under the circumstances.
