"Cancellation of appointments"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

Arrived at Frimley Park Hospital today for appointment in eye clinic, my daughter had taken day off work to accompany me as per instruction in appointment letter only to be told appointment had been cancelled. I was not notified of this prior to arriving at hospital. There was no apology I was just told I was one of the unlucky ones, which would imply I was not the only one. The cancellation of appointments and rescheduling happens very frequently at Frimley I am unsure as to why this is but all departments are prone to rescheduling however normally patients are at least informed beforehand. My daughter is front line staff it is a shame she has had to waste a day of her leave and a shame for the service she was unavailable today
