Went in having been sent from Kendal to be admitted onto a ward but told to go via A & E, although already been accepted by the ward. Was left on a trolley all night, no pillow, no blanket, no updates. At 59 years of age this is the most vulnerable I have ever felt as no one was allowed in with me. I arrived around 10.00pm and it was mid afternoon the next day by the time I got to the ward, exhausted. Once on the ward I cannot fault it, ASU staff are fantastic and work their socks off.
"An eye opener"
