About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward

Female surgical has been good so far, the food is terrific and there is a nice amount on the plate. The environment is fine, it is clean and tidy however, the bin I am beside is so noisy. The care is outstanding and the service is good. One bad thing though is the toilets they are a disgrace, there is nothing for me to hold on to to get up.

The staff are brilliant and so attentive. As long as we do not bother them too much we are okay. I have to say there is no one that stands out they are all the same, in a good way.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on Care Opinion. I will make sure that the nursing team of Female Surgical are made aware of your lovely comments. Please accept my apologies regarding the noisy bin and difficulty you experienced due to the layout of the toilet. We are currently in the process of replacing all the bins on Female Surgical with quiet closure mechanisms and we are working with our estates colleagues to upgrade all the toilets. I hope you keep well.
