-Took a stroke 2019 - September. I attended the Health & Wellbeing Hub @ EACH. This was of great benefit to me and my husband as it gave me a bit of different company and my husband, a little time to himself. This was good for both our mental health.
- Regular checks from nurse e.g. blood pressure & weight. Reassured me and kept me from worrying.
- Any problems e.g. I have continence problems, dealt with at clinic in expertise on the spot without waiting weeks/months for an appointment. Saved me a lot of worry.
- Weekly physio which I desperately needed for my balance and strength.
- Talks on nutrition etc good for preventative measures.
- Discussions, quizzes involving staff and other clients, which helped keep me alert. Very important for stimulation and brain power. Fun as well.
- Overall spirits lifted and something to look forward to. Socially stimulating.
- The hub has been sporadic from covid with lengthy closures, but as things are starting to open again, I was asking that you please get this very valuable service up and running again, to help myself and others who depended on, and most definitely, benefitted from this valuable service. Can you please start this service up soon as, like me, I'm sure everybody is missing it greatly.
