"Med review by telephone "

About: Albion Place Medical Practice

I find it frustrating that face to face appts are still shortcoming.

However I had a call back for a med review and to discuss a blood test result.

The caller was the practice pharmacist, who was pleasant and polite, informed, was attentive and listened.

I was very reassured and even recieved a further text following the call, in regard to a routine test, which again reassured me my record had been scrutinised accordingly, and nothing had been missed.

I was offered alternatives to medicines I wasn't crazy about taking and again I found the service very good.

Its just a shame these things can't be face to face.

But I was very pleased with the outcome, felt I could raise concerns and seek alternatives and make a good plan in regard to my health going forward.

I have been with Albion place since the local surgeries were merged and like the multitude of services, triage nurses etc.
