"I appreciate the help and understanding shown to me"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Winchester

(as a service user),

I came into services thinking it was too late to change and without hope. For the first time in my life I felt listened to and believed and began to believe that it wasn't too late.

I have been supported by my key worker, groups and peers and with that support have felt able to start addressing other areas of my life. I have gone from being unable to see life without substances to wanting to enjoy life without them. I appreciate the extreme patience of the services and the help and understanding they have shown me.

Thank you for your recent post and valuable feedback.

I am delighted that you took the step to reach out for support - it takes a lot of courage but it is never too late to ask for help.

I am also really pleased that your experience has been a positive one and that you have felt listened to and have been offered the right support for you which is helping you see that life can be different and enjoyable without the use of substances.

I would encourage you to continue to access all the support you are finding helpful in your recovery and I wish you well for the future.

I will pass on your feedback to the Winchester Team.
