20 hrs after initial call to 111 for my 11 year old, a gp telephoned and said a prescription would be sent to pharmacy, went to collected and it wasn’t there, the Pharmacist tried to track the prescription but it was no where to be found!! Telephoned 111 and nearly 72 hrs and several calls to them later… we are STILL waiting for the prescription for antibiotics! I get that the service is busy BUT… it’s mistakes like this that let the system down and cause unnecessary stress and pressure on everyone!!
No wonder people end up going to A&E!
