About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 4 South

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had a wide local excision of melanoma scar yesterday afternoon, right side of my abdomen.  I am in recovery mode at the moment and still in quite some pain. All the surgical and nursing staff on 4 South have been treating me very well and have been so respectful towards me. They have been keeping me informed of everything that is going to happen.

I am fascinated by this scar that I have now I am not sure how big the scar will be, it is covered up with the dressing at the moment.

Everything so far has been brilliant honestly can’t fault a thing about this hospital, they have greatly helped me and the nurses are amazing at what they do. Great nursing team on 4 South!
