Starting with a PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) of 236 in January 2013 it came as a bit of a shock. Relief after scans showed no spread, 37 visits to The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital at Exeter for radical radiotherapy and 3 years of hormone treatment, PSA at 0.03
I was put on the tracker system at the North Devon District Hospital and quarterly PSA monitored by the Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team.
Always there when you needed them and I want to thank them especially Cath for 6 years of explanations and advice and as its spread a little now so I move onto the next stage as we try to keep it in its cage.
