Contacted NHS111 at 8pm (it's now 2.34am) I was promised a call back within 6 hours for my son who is very poorly- I have chased this three times tonight, 20 minutes on each call. Keep being told they are busy and they will put a complaint through and get a supervisor to call me within an hour- which probably means another 6 hours. Appalling service, seriously what is going on? We all need to know the truth, it's being going on too long. The staff are very polite and helpful but the service is zero. Its Bank Holiday weekend , this isn't a way to treat a child who require medical attention.
