I had parathyroid surgery yesterday in Coleraine hospital and from the moment I walked in to S2 Caitlin smiled welcomed me and made me feel at ease. It was my first time ever being in hospital. She reassured me during the whole experience and student nurse Ciara was also very attentive, friendly and diligent. It was a pleasure to be looked after these nurses and any hospital is lucky to have them.
When I came out of recovery Mary and Judith were so attentive and helped calm me and make me comfortable. Mary was an angel and I couldn’t have asked for any better care from her.
The anaesthetist mark was also very reassuring and helped me feel relaxed about the process and clearly explained the process from putting me to sleep to waking up again. Elizabeth was also extremely caring and it was comforting to have friendly professionals around during a very scary procedure.
Mr Valko is an absolute gentleman, exceptional at his job. He was so professional from the first meeting and was very calm and reassuring making sure I understood everything. It was a pleasure dealing with him and Nick. Nick was also very friendly and professional. I am so relieved to have had such a positive experience and cannot express my gratitude enough.
