If you are awaiting a gynae examination at JPH I hope I can help put your mind at rest in some way.

I had an ultrasound, and an internal camera to look at the womb. The two ladies who carried out the procedure were professional and kind. Procedure mildly uncomfortable nothing more.

I then saw the consultant, always accompanied by a female nurse who again was so kind and very aware of draping a modesty sheet over me to save my exposure.! Another quick painless internal exam by the consultant. All done. The clinic was so clean and organised and reception friendly and calm. A positive experience at a stressful time!
