I have had many health issues throughout my life, but one of the long standing conditions I have been dealing with is pulmonary fibrosis. That is why I am currently here on the male medical ward today.
I was brought in with breathing problems to the emergency department. My experience of the emergency department has been very good. I was not waiting for very long before I was brought up to the ward. All the nurses were very kind to me during the time I was in the department, and they were very caring and worked excellently as a team.
Since I was moved up to male medical, I was shocked to see the hospitality and care that the nurses provided me. The staff here are great and are very good at their jobs. They have been so attentive and they have all been very friendly to me as well.
The food is also great and I cannot understand how or why people will complain about it. I have found it to be very appetising and enticing to eat, and I know I will never be hungry here, the portions are fabulous.
My only issue and improvement would be with the bathrooms. I have noticed that the taps extend very far over the hand basin itself, and on numerous occasions while washing my face, I have accidentally splashed water up and about the place due to this design feature. Other than that everything has been perfect
"Wonderful care"
