About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / Virtual Visiting Service

(as a service user),

I rang the virtual visiting helpline. The lady was lovely and so helpful. A FaceTime and zoom visit was quickly organised and the FaceTime visit was a great success and brought a lot of comfort to the family members who couldn’t visit in person. It is a brilliant service and we are zooming tomorrow. Thank you Sylvia

Good afternoon

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of our Virtual Visiting Service in Southern Health and Social Services Trust. We recognise how difficult it is for patients and families at the minute due to Covid 19 and the current restrictions on visiting, but as you say Virtual Visiting allows you and your family to be able to see and talk to each other in a safe way. It is wonderful to read that our service brought you all such comfort.
