"Dreadful practice"

About: Princes Gardens Surgery

When I rang up with an ear complaint, the receptionist tried to fob me off, telling me it was not serious and I should probably go to an audiologist. I insisted and was rung back by a (very nice) GP. She made an appointment for me with a nurse. When I arrived, the surgery was empty. The nurse seemed to have not much to do; as well as checking my ears, he checked my blood pressure, blood oxygen level too. Since then I have repeatedly tried to make appointments but the system is hopeless. You either have to ring at 8.15 on the dot or have to wait until a random time when appointments are made available online. No idea why they have receptionists whose only job seems to be to tell you to go away. It used to be a fantastic surgery but is now dreadful.
