"Helpful advice on mobility after my treatment"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Neurology

(as a service user),

I am currently undergoing treatment at the City Hospital for a brain tumour. I was sent to meet a nurse called Paula in ref to staying active and mobility concerns.

I was very apprehensive about the potential for the treatment to affect my mobility and the things I enjoy doing. It was very reassuring to speak to someone about the fears other than treatment itself. I spoke with Paula who was extremely helpful in both her advice to me and allaying the fears of my wife who had concerns herself in ref to me attempting to stay too active.
