"Over An Hour In The Phone Queue"

About: Bethesda Medical Centre

I have been with this surgery for many years and my experience every time gets worse. I had a text recently to invite me for a diabetic mot so I phoned the surgery (was 19th in the queue) and got through finally after 43 minutes. Receptionist told me there are no appointments available at all and to ring back Monday. Rang today, was 20th in the queue, got to 10th after 27 minutes then got cut off. Immediately redialled was 17th so another 39 minutes later finally got through and the excuse was holidays and sickness of staff! Earliest appointment offered is 7th June. I have various other issues which are new to me and quite serious to get sorted. I cannot physically sit in front of my doctor I have tried for months and all I get is the offer of a phone call. I have had to pay £500 for an MRI as the doctor’s won’t refer me via the NHS and I am no further forward with knowing when I may actually get seen by a human so that I can get my mobility issue sorted. It’s such a struggle to get anything from this surgery I have rang countless times over the last few months with promises of ‘specialist’ treatment and got nothing so far. I am at my wits end, you can understand why people lose their patience, it really is quite disgusting. I would like to be able to sit down and talk to a GP who takes a real interest in your issues and does something about it. They don’t care
