"Made to feel like a burden"

Since Jan 2021 I have been suffering with hip/leg problems. I have messaged/Called numerous times. Never once do I feel like I have been taken Seriously, even when I broken down in tears in front of a doctor (which, I will add was the first time I was ever seen by a doctor for this problem) and said I was suicidal from the pain (it has been going on for a year by this point). I am now on month 15 of chronic, debilitating pain and have not even had a referral through. I just get pain meds thrown at me. I want to fix the problem, not dope myself up. I’ve finally bitten the bullet and paid for private tests/scans which have revealed the problem and the consultant has advised how to fix it.. all within 10 days… 15 months I have waited for oaklands to help. I feel like no one took me seriously or really listened. The whole situation has left me feeling so upset and let down.
