I had a routine blood test for my diabetes and they tested my PSA level automatically due to me over 60 years of age. I am so glad that they did, my reading was very low only 4.69 but after a follow with my Doctor he decided to refer me to the Urology dept of The Royal Stoke Hospital who sent me for a MRi scan.
It revealed cancer of the Prostate Gland which was swiftly removed in April. Many, many thanks to my GP and the staff at Trinity Medical Centre for saving my life; by acting very quickly and efficiently in dealing with my condition. Come on all you men out there come forward and get tested, the quicker the diagnosis the better the outcome.
